Introduction to the Conference

Please join us for our annual conference held in Pocatello, Idaho on June 12th through June 14th, 2023. The first day will be for ICOPA members and we will cover many areas important to our membership including legislative updates, discussion of association issues, updates from our ICOPA leadership team, etc.

Special Events Throughout the Conference

    • Gun Raffles
    • Cornhole Competition

Enjoy the Nearby Lava Hot Springs

Bubbling out of natural underground springs, the hot water is laden with minerals, but has no sulfur odor. Over 2.5 million gallons a day flow through the hot springs and are diverted into the Portneuf River keeping the springs ever changing and clean. The spring’s temperatures range from approximately 102˚ F to 112˚ F degrees.

Special World Class Leadership Training

On the the second and third day of the conference we will have training by Echelon Front with Lief Babin and Jenna Lee around the theme of “Leadership is the Solution.” see the description below.

Leadership is the Solution

Tuesday, June 13th & Wednesday, June 14th

Leif Babin and Jenna Lee offer practical, experience-based solutions to the complex leadership challenges law enforcement and first responders face on a daily basis. At its core are battle-tested concepts of combat leadership that directly correlate to all leadership situations on and off the battlefield. In this training they will teach tried, tested, and proven combat leadership principles and strategies learned on the front lines of the war on terror.

Echelon Front leadership training is directly applicable to the law enforcement & firefighting professions who lead in dynamic, rapidly changing, chaotic situations. Simple and direct, yet simultaneously strategic and diplomatic, these leadership concepts are designed to get you and your team executing at the highest level possible.
